"The Harvest/La Cosecha"

*Music by Thomas Wesley Stern before & after the film*

Friday, November 18 7:00pm
FCC (The Guild Room) 40 South Fullerton Ave.

The Harvest/La Cosecha tells the story of three of the more than 400,000 American children who work in the fields to pick the food we eat.
"An earnest documentary about child migrant farm workers in the United States, has a muckraking agenda but a melancholy soul." - NY Times

Eva Longoria, one of the Executive Producers, received the Special Achievement Award for The Harvest/La Cosecha from the National Center of La Raza.
This eye opening documentary was produced by Shine Global, a non-profit documentary organization focused on children's issues.
Two of the films' producers, Albie Hecht & Susan MacLaury founded Shine Global and live in Montclair.
